About the team

Aimee Asselin

Aimee realised Island life was in her blood after spending a year in Cranbrook, BC, attending the College of the Rockies – the time spent growing up in the Comox Valley, close to the ocean, had left its mark. She returned to Victoria, where she spent a few years as an office manager and dental assistant.

In 2005, she moved up island where she honed her administrative skills at an accounting firm in the Comox Valley, gaining substantial accounting experience through the years working with small businesses, medical/dental professionals, corporate and personal tax clients. Aimee joined the Langille & Company team in 2017 as a staff accountant and has been working on corporate year-ends, personal tax returns and liaising between our clients and the Canada Revenue Agency.

Aimee Asselin

When not working, Aimee likes to take advantage of all that the Comox Valley, and Vancouver Island, has to offer including hiking the numerous parks with her camera to photograph their gorgeous scenery or taking road trips with friends to explore even more of the Island.

Anna Singleton Martin
Anna Singleton Martin
Anna started her accounting career as an articles clerk for a small firm of Chartered Accountants in England before moving into fraud audit for asset-based lending firms and UK/European banks. After immigrating to Canada, she remained in the finance sector, gaining valuable experience as a finance director and general manager in the hospitality industry to a personal bookkeeper for small local businesses. Anna joined the Langille & Company team in 2018 as an in-house bookkeeper, and made her mark by promptly improving workflow and routines to enable the department to grow.
In her spare time, Anna loves to dance and trains and performs with some of the Comox Valley’s most inspiring ladies from all walks of life. She also runs a personal finance blog and maintains a part-time position as a financial controller for a small graphite mine in the Kootenays.

Lana Morgan Veloso

As a child, Lana moved to the Comox Valley with her family in 1975. Growing up here made her realise she would never want to leave this beautiful valley. With more than 15 years of office administration experience, Lana keeps the office running smoothly with her can-do nature and positive attitude. Lana joined our team in 2018 and is the friendly smile that greets clients, especially during tax season when there can be some stressful days.
When not working, Lana likes to make cards and spend time in her craft room. She is an avid hockey and football fan, and she loves spending warm summer days at her favourite spot in the Comox Valley, Kitty Coleman Park.
Megan Langille
Megan was born and raised in the Comox Valley. She is a third year student at NIC going for her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting. She helps out at the office during tax season answering phones, helping clients at the front counter and getting as much practical experience with taxes as possible.
In her spare time Megan enjoys musical theatre, world travel, and walks with her dog Pepsi.
Born and raised in the Comox Valley, Nova is an original employee of the firm starting her position in 2013. She enjoys the hustle and bustle of tax season, and takes her client care duties very seriously, welcoming many clients to the office. She diligently makes sure her dad gets out for a walk each and every day at lunch (earlier if possible!)
When she’s not working, she loves playing on the beach, long walks through the forest and snuggling on the couch with her mom.

Bosun was born in 2018 in Gwynne, Alberta and joined our firm in May of 2019. He has enthusiastically embraced his role as assistant greeter and he continues to work with Nova to perfect his technique. A quintessential retriever he is often seen carrying his stuffed moose around with him – he’ll show you, but you’re not going to get it away from him!
Outside the office Bo loves to accompany Nova on her adventures and has several puppy friends that he likes to visit.
